The Mazda Mobility Program offers to reimburse drivers up to $1,000 toward the purchase and installation of adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance equipment on all eligible new Mazda vehicles. The following FAQ offers answers to some of the most frequently asked questions applicants have about the Mazda Mobility Program rebate offer.

What equipment does the Mazda Mobility Program rebate cover?

The Mazda Mobility Program rebate is available for any drivers with disabilities or handicaps who purchase a new Mazda vehicle from an authorized Mazda Dealer. Some examples of eligible equipment include wheelchair lifts or other lift equipment, as well as hand or other driving controls. Please note that the adaptive driving aids/mobility assistance equipment must be installed by a qualified installation provider.

What vehicles are eligible for the Mazda Mobility Program rebate?

Eligible models include all new Mazda vehicles from the three most current model years purchased from an authorized Mazda Dealer. As of MY 2021, that pool of qualifying vehicles includes any 2019, 2020, or 2021 model-year Mazda models in stock at Gwatney Mazda. The rebate is NOT available for any used or leased vehicles.

Please note that all claims must be received by Mazda Program Headquarters within three months of the original purchase date in order to receive your Mazda Mobility Program rebate.

How do I apply for my Mazda Mobility Program rebate?

To redeem your Mazda Mobility Program rebate, the following documents can be submitted to Mazda Program Headquarters via email:

  • A copy the Bill of Sale or purchase contract for the new Mazda vehicle
  • A copy of the vehicle’s registration or title
  • A copy of the purchaser’s driver’s license
  • A copy of the Mobility Assistance Claim Form
  • A copy of the paid invoice(s) for the adaptive driving aids/mobility assistance equipment
  • A copy of a physician’s statement identifying the specific need(s) for mobility assistance
