What Changes Have Been Made to the 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata?
Headlining the list of changes, the 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata adds more i-ACTIVSENSE® safety systems to the list of standard amenities. With the shift, features like the Lane Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Smart City Brake Support are now standard on all models. On the 2019 Miata, these features were standard only on the Grand Touring trim level.
On Club and Grand Touring models, standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration will allow you to access your smartphone’s maps, playlists, contacts, compatible apps and more right from your MAZDA CONNECT™ touchscreen. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ could only be optioned onto the 2019 model as part of a dealer-installed accessory bundle.
New for the Grand Touring, models with the SKYACTIV®-MT six-speed manual transmission will inherit the Club’s limited-slip differential, Bilstein dampers, front shock tower brace and sport-tuned suspension.
