New Standard Features of the 2020 Mazda3  

The biggest development for the Mazda3 in the transition to MY 2020 is the standardization of the i-ACTIVSENSE® safety suite. This means drivers of the 2020 Mazda3 can experience elevated peace of mind from any trim level.  

Standard active safety systems and features of the Mazda3 now include: 

  • Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go  
  • Smart Brake Support 
  • Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist 
  • High Beam Control 
  • Driver Attention Alert  

The Mazda3 hatchback line will also feature standard Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. The Mazda3 sedan also adds automatic on/off headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers to the standard features list.

Other Feature Highlights of the 2020 Mazda3 Lineup 

All Mazda3 models are powered by the esteemed SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L four-cylinder engine, which is rated at 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Paired with available cylinder-deactivation technology, the model returns up to 27 city/36 highway on sedan models and 25 city/35 highway on hatchback variants. 

Slipping into the cockpit of the 2020 Mazda3, the 8.8-inch center display runs the latest in MAZDA CONNECT™ technology, while a 7-inch digital gauge display in the instrument cluster offers a quick view of important driving information.  

Other available feature highlights of the 2020 Mazda3 lineup include i-ACTIV AWD®, dual-zone climate control, leather seating surfaces, the Bose® premium 12-speaker audio system, a power moonroof, the windshield-projected Active Driving Display, signature LED lighting and the Adaptive Front-lighting System.
