What’s New in the 2020 Mazda CX-3?
With the advent of the new CX-30, Mazda makes the strategic decision of cutting the CX-3 down to a single trim level for 2020. But we’re not shedding any tears, as the change means drivers can find more standard features packed into the budget-friendly CX-3 Sport. See what this means for the subcompact crossover line as we continue to explore what’s new in the 2020 Mazda CX-3.
How Much Does the 2020 Mazda CX-3 Cost?
The 2020 Mazda CX-3 has a starting MSRP of just $20,640. For comparison, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 featured a starting price of $20,390. Despite the minute price increase, the newest CX-3 offers loads more equipment for your investment.
New Standard Features
With the Touring and Grand Touring trim levels nixed, we see more features moved to the standard list of the 2020 Mazda CX-3. This is especially true in the field of driver assistance features. All CX-3 crossovers now come equipped with the following systems:
- Mazda Radar Cruise Control with stop and go
- Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection
- Smart Brake Support with Collision Warning
- Lane Departure Warning
- High Beam Control
- Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
- Rain-sensing windshield wipers
The shift also means more technology features. The CX-3 is now the only Mazda model to make the windshield-projected Active Driving Display standard from the base level. Other new standard features coming our way for 2020 include automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™
