New Wireless Apple CarPlay™ Integration

New for 2021, the Mazda6 will be the first of the brand’s vehicles to launch wireless Apple CarPlay™ integration. This feature will come standard on Mazda6 Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, Signature, and Carbon Edition models, though Sport and Touring models will still include wired Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.

New Carbon Edition Model

Speaking of Carbon Edition, the 2021 Mazda6 Carbon Edition package is rolling off the production line with a distinct Polymetal Gray exterior, darkened accents, and special interior styling. The Carbon Edition can be identified by its gloss black rear lip spoiler, gloss black door mirrors, and 19-inch black metallic aluminum alloy wheels. Inside the differences become even more so apparent with unique red leather upholstery, black cross stitching, and black hairline interior accents on the dashboard and door panels. The Mazda6 Carbon Edition shares similar features to the Mazda6 Grand Touring Reserve, which has a windshield-projected Active Driving Display, Adaptive Front-lighting System, heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, driver’s seat memory, and so much more.

New Badging on Mazda6 Turbo Models

This year the Mazda3 got its own turbocharged engine, and Mazda decided to celebrate it by patching a TURBO badge onto the trunk lid of Mazda3 2.5 Turbo models. Now the Mazda6 gets in on the action. Models with the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 Turbo engine – Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature – are all now identified by the new TURBO badge.
