The smaller Mazda CX-3 offers seating for up to five passengers, plus 12.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. The 2020 Mazda CX-30 also offers seating for up to five passengers, but tacks on a more capacious cargo area with 20.2 cubic feet of space. This makes the new CX-30 a better fit for drivers with more serious cargo-moving needs that exceed your typical day-to-day errands.

The all-new Mazda CX-30 is expected to offer three engines, including a 2.0-liter SKYACTIV®-G four-cylinder engine, an all-new SKYACTIV®-X engine and a 1.8-liter SKYACTIV®-D diesel four-cylinder engine. The Mazda CX-3 also draws life from a standard 2.0-liter SKYACTIV®-G four-cylinder engine, returning 148 horsepower and an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 29 city/34 highway. Both Mazda crossovers offer standard FWD or the available Mazda i-ACTIV AWD® system.
In the Mazda CX-30, drivers can expect to find a new standard 8.8-inch MAZDA CONNECT™ touchscreen interface with one-touch access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The MAZDA CONNECT™ system of the 2019 Mazda CX-3 employs a smaller 7-inch touchscreen display. Other feature highlights on deck for the 2020 Mazda CX-30 include the Active Driving Display, a 12-speaker Bose® sound system and the Mazda i-ACTIVSENSE® safety systems.
