How to Sync your Phone to MAZDA CONNECT™ via Bluetooth

MAZDA CONNECT™ helps eliminate the risk by allowing you to safely access many off your smartphone’s applications right from your vehicle’s touchscreen. Available on every model of the Mazda lineup, MAZDA CONNECT™ is a next-generation vehicle infotainment system that offers a far wider range of features and functions than your typical setup. Let’s get started with this guide on how to sync your phone to MAZDA CONNECT™ via Bluetooth.
Connecting to MAZDA CONNECT™ via Bluetooth
Step 1: Make sure your vehicle is in park.
Step 2: Check that your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and the device is discoverable.
Step 3: Select “Settings” on your MAZDA CONNECT™ home screen.
Step 4: Tap the “Devices” tab.
Step 5: Select “Bluetooth.”
Step 6: Select “Add New Device.”
Step 7: A listing for “Mazda” should now show on your phone’s list of available Bluetooth connections. Find and select “Mazda.”
Step 8: A pairing code should display on your MAZDA CONNECT™ screen. You’ll either be prompted to: (1) enter the six-digit code into your phone or (2) verify that the code on your phone’s display matches that on the vehicle’s display.

How to Use Bluetooth Audio with MAZDA CONNECT™
Step 1: Select “Entertainment” on your MAZDA CONNECT™ home screen.
Step 2: Select “Bluetooth.”
Step 3: Select “Root Menu.”
Step 4: Find and select your desired song.
How to Make a Call with MAZDA CONNECT™
Step 1: Find and select the “Talk” button on your Mazda’s steering wheel.
Step 2: After you hear the voice-command system beep, say “Phone.”
Step 3: State either the number or the name of the person you would like to call, saying “Call” afterward.
