However, the model we are most excited to experience for the new model year is the 2019 Mazda3. The sedan and hatchback versions of the new Mazda3 have been completely redesigned from the ground-up and, according to top automotive website Jalopnik, it could be the platform to push Mazda to the next level. During his drive on city streets of LA and around the winding canyon roads outside of the city, he praised the sedan version of the 2019 Mazda3 for providing an energetic driving experience. He admitted to struggling a bit with the automatic transmission’s manual shift mode, but any new automotive feature is going to come with a bit of a learning curve.
On the inside of the 2019 Mazda3 sedan, Westbrook was very quick to point out the new materials and build quality of the four-door Mazda. He also pointed out the improved audio system as well as the improved sound insulation techniques employed by the automaker that have all but eliminated road and wind noise.
