Is Mazda adding a new sports car to the lineup?
It’s pretty easy to understand how the people working as product experts at Gwatney Mazda of Germantown became huge Mazda fans. With that, more than a few of them actually spend some of their downtime reading the news and other articles about what may or may not be coming down the pipe from the automaker. A recent article has caught our attention that stated Mazda has chosen to renew its trademark for the MX-6 model name. Does this mean Mazda is adding a new sports car to the lineup? Obviously, we don’t know for sure, but at this point, it doesn’t seem likely. Let’s take a look at what we know at this point in the game. (more…)

Is the Mazda3 being redesigned soon?
This is one of the most exciting times of the year for those of us in the automotive industry. The 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show kicks off the season next month and it’s often home to several ground-breaking announcements from original equipment manufacturers. Mazda released a short teaser video which led several of us working at Gwatney Mazda of Germantown to wonder out loud, ‘Is the Mazda3 being redesigned soon?’ The few details we can glean from the 15-second video seems to hint that it will be. Unfortunately, there isn’t any further information available, so we don’t have much to add in the way of concrete facts.
